Why the Wall of Shame?

Well the directory is at the moment rejecting as many links as it's accepting because it appears many people, from English speaking nations, have problems following a few simple instructions. So to help you all, we have decided to introduce the wall of shame. Now don't worry, we aren't going to name and shame, but we will give examples of what we have to work with so that you can compare your entry and hopefully get it right first time.

So lets have a look and see why some sites didn't make it.

The title is all lower case, doesn't read correctly and looks spamier than a Monty Python sketch. If you think this will get you noticed it wont. This is the sort of thing that should go into the keywords. The title is supposed to catch the eye and make people want to read the description and click on your link, not just be a random jumble of words.

Description: Welcome to (removed to protect the innocent) Facilities & Maintenance and Domestic Cleaning Agency, the leading home maintenance agency for London and Hertfordshire.

The description has far too many capital letters, it's a sentence and should therefore look like one. Read the last sentence again it has only one cap at the beginning. How about using a comma instead of & so that the grammar is correct. By the way, London and Hertfordshire are okay, they're place names.

Keywords: cleaner domestic cleaning agency fast cleaners best cleaners carpet cleaning london

Actually the keywords are okay, but why repeat words and why not include things like plumbing painting electrical, if that's what is being targeted?
